Subject: I'm new

hey I was wondering if anyone could fill me in, I have been looking at all these poics and am like falling in LOVE with lots of these dolls!!! Do you like collect them or something? all I know about them is that they are really cute dolls that I would love to have one of I don't even know where I could get one or anything I live in the U.S. Could someone fill me in on everything? thanx a bunch.
