About babies

I think this is a big issue here...I am making these dolls for myself and if I ever decide to sell them, I will consult a lawyer first :) I don't think that is illegal.

Mikaela is right. I never ever said that H2oh Babies are illegal, I just said that both me and my husband think that for me personally, it was not a good investement since I can make my own dolls...Even though I changed my mind and wanted to have a doll I did not make for a change :)

Lainy, it is not illegal to buy the cloth body from the doll company. I know cause I deal AV dolls and the factory lets me say they are my creations as long as I state that I start with AV kits...Besides I modify them, so I give them my personal mark...

I am afraid Toys R Us will stop bringing in the La Baby dolls in the State. They said they weren't a big seller :(

By the way..HAPPY 4TH Of JULY !!

Hope I cleared everything up..Please don't let the subject get blown out of proportion...As I said, this is my personal creation for my personal use and that is certainly not illegal..If I was ever to sell them, then I would consulant a lawyer *and* the Berenguer factory first :)

I agree, although i know nothing about using parts of dills for your own creations, i have to say that it doesn't sound illegal, and if you ask lawers and the company nothing could go wrong!
