Subject: Mulder vs. Doggett (Spoilers for 4D)

I was thinking about Doggett asing Reyes to pull the plug on him. I was under the impression that Doggett didn't really believe in Reyes' theory at all and just wanted her to kill him because he didn't want to live as a parapalegic. (I think CW has a different opinion so I'm not sure).

But what I wondered is, how do you think Mulder would react in that situation if there WAS NOT a question of parellel universes? Only if he thought he would live that way. Would he not want to like Doggett didn't or would he be ok with it? I know he did once say he wished he had a peg leg.
