followed a similar path in Millenium as well. The only difference here is that he isn't quoting the book of Revelations like he did in Millenium. Either way I get the feeling he is exploring the ideas of afterlife, alternative life forms (time warps) or whatever they are called, and also with the Walk-in thing, maybe reincarnation?? Old souls looking for new bodies or souls? The time line would be a great idea--maybe we could all pitch in and figure it out. Sounds like fun to me but then that's sort of my obssessive thing here because things just don't add up.

Scully was abducted (for her ova--maybe they recognized the genetic material was quite desirous?) but it was Mulder's brain that they put into danger at the beginning of the season. I guess this is just one more thing to try to think about and fit into the picture.

I just think it is so cool that Scully and Mulder just keep supporting each other--picking up the slack when the other is down, etc.
