Here are the new shows I've tried out so far and what I think:

"Fringe"-Very intertesting but just not my cup of tea. The whole science/experimentation theme of it doesn't sit well with me. Just too creepy so I decided not to continue with this after I sampled the first episode.

"The Mentalist"- I watched one episode of this as well and didn't think the writing was very good nor the acting. It seemed very cliched, like it was trying too hard to get in all the typical cop show traditions. Plus I don't really care for Simon Baker. They're trying to have him come off as super cute and appealing and he just does nothing for me. So after one episode I chose not to watch further.

"Worst Week"--I have found this quite funny. It's similar in style to a show such as "Arrested Development" which I loved. Not nearly as good but still a fun way to take a break from the troubles of life so I'll continue with theis one for the time being.
I've heard the ratings have been low for this which surpises me because of it's time slot.

"Life on Mars"--I haven't watched the first episode yet but am going to give it a try because I loved the original British series so much. I'm already assuming it won't be nearly as good but I will give it a shot.

"My Own Worst Enemy"--I will try this one out. It might be interesting. Plus my sister has been in love with Christian Slater most of her life (I don't know what she sees in him myself, lol) so I'll try it out. I wasn't going to but then I read a review and it looked promising.

Returning shows I watch:

"Desperate Housewives"-- I'm not sure how I like this jumping 5 years ahead in time that they did this year yet or not. We'll see. But it's still a fun show and I think it's still popular although I haven't checked the ratings.

"King of the Hill"-This show hasn't been a ratings success in ages but after what, around 11 years or something?, it's still on the air and still fun for me. I'm not a big fan of adult animation (I never liked The Simpsons) but this one took to my heart.

"Prison Break"--Still struggling for ratings in its 4th season. I love it.

"Sarah Connor"--Also really struggling and I heard it might be cancelled, so once again I'm out of step with the general population because I think it's a really good show.

"House"--After watching for the first few seasons I've grown tired of certin aspects of this show. I keep asking myself why I'm still watching but so far I am.
Still a hit, I think.

"Bones"--Similar opinion to "House." I like parts of this show but not others yet I keep watching. What's wrong with me? ;)

"CSI:NY"--I think this has gotten consistently better through the years.
A hit? Of course, it's CSI! I'm surprised that they haven't added more franchises yet.
Where's "CSI:Des Moines"?

"Ugly Betty"-Still fun but I think it's lost a bit with its move to NY. It seems a bit off but I still enjoy it. Doesn't get super huge ratings but I think they are fare enough to keep it on the air.

"CSI: Crime Scene Investigation"-- I haven't watched the season premiere yet but, oh my poor Warrick! You know he was one of my faves on this show, IG. Sad what has transpired with the actor lately. And William Petersen leaving? I don't know how these major changes will play out in regard to the show's quality or the public's interest. It's always been on top of the heap ratingswise. We'll see if there's any fallout.

"Numb3ers"-Still a good show, still consistently over my head as far as all the math stuff goes, lol.

"Life"- A really good show starting its second season but the idiots at NBC have moved it up against "Numb3ers" so I don't know how it will fare.

"Are You Smarter Than a Fifth Grader"-I watch this, as well as "Jeopardy" to keep my brain sharp.

"Don't Forget the Lyrics"- I watch this for fun.

Both of these last two shows were moved to friday nights so the ratings have fallen but I imagine they're cheap to produce.

New on Daytime:

"The Bonnie Hunt Show"-This is my favorite new show! I've always liked her plus her personality and interests are very similar to mine. I relate to a lot of what she says. Have you tried it? It's syndicated.
Very fun show.
