Got a couple of questions and comments about "Numb3rs". I watched this show during its first season, then kind of drifted away from it (although I still caught an occasional ep now and then) and have begun watching it on a fairly regular basis again this fall. So I know, basically, who all the characters are, but am a not really in the loop as to exactly what's been going on in the show lately.

Comment first: I've noticed in the past couple of eps how Don seems to be getting more serious about his Jewish faith. This kind of reminds me of how Scully returned to her Catholic beliefs over the course of XF. I always think it's nice when a TV show has characters who are serious about their religious beliefs; because religion plays a HUGE role in the lives of many Americans, but its rarely shown as being an issue that impacts TV characters.

Question: Exactly what is going on between Charlie and Amita? They do seem to be "involved" (in the romantic sense of the word) to some degree or another but are they married, dating, engaged or what? And when did they actually began a romantic relationship with each other?
During the first season, Charlie and Amita were just doing the UST thing. If they've been "involved" for the past several seasons and the show is still on the air, that would seem to disprove the theory that allowing two characters to move from a state of perpetual UST to an actual romantic relationship *always* leads to the inevitable quick decline of the show. (Of course, if they kept up the UST until the last year's season finale and this season ends up being the show's final one, I guess it would prove that theory is right!)
