and yes, Daniels was the VP for the younger Palmer. At least he tried to take over. I don't know Jon Voight's character is but I don't think he's a good guy. Conspiracy

The new pres might have some redeeming traits. She has to know that there is corruption in DC (hmm--somehow I think that's always been an assumption) and perhaps she is out to clean house. I think Jack will be working again directly for the president as she is the only person who can pardon him and get him vindicated.

Hopefully Chloe shows up safe and sound. As for Tony, if I remember right he had said something to the effect that the next time he and Jack met they would be on opposite sides. Jack wasn't to call him again.

I personally had a tough time with this movie. I know that they are training children to kill over there and even while knowing that, I really had to struggle to watch the whole thing. The whole thing was rather upsetting to me. Yes, it's fiction on the tv, but it isn't fiction in some parts of the world.
