The only thing I don't understand is why "NCIS" is less of "shoo-in" for renewal than shows like "Jericho" or "The Unit" or "Numb3rs." All of these are CBS shows and "NCIS" has higher ratings than any of those others. Also, "NCIS" is the only show on any network that doesn't just roll over and die when it has to go into head-to-head compettion with the "American Idol" juggernaut. "NCIS" manages to remain a top 20 show even when up agains "AI."
Isn't "7th Heaven" the show that is currently doing the routine of "This is our final season; wait a minute, no it's not" that was originally invented by XF and then popularized by "Friends"?
I don't really have strong feelings about any of the shows that are "on the bubble". Does anybody else?
