I see humor in CSI and even CSI:NY has tried to lighten things up a little bit but in their line of work things aren't too funny I guess.
The only one hour show I think we have now with anything close to the 80's shows you mentioned I guess would be Desperate Housewives. It's got mystery and drama but a lot of goofiness too. It's in the cateogry of Comedy for award shows but I don't think it's like others comedies.
How about Alias? That's more like the spy shows of the past but I don't know how funny it is.
I miss family dramas. Good ones, not stupid soap opera-y ones.

BDM they do solve cases fast on these but well, they only have 45 minutes. ;) TXF did the same thing. Like with any show there are good and bad ones and I think CSI is still the best of the bunch over all. THe good ones take the viewer through the whole process including mistakes along the way and wrong guesses so I think they do a pretty good job.

Is anyone else watching the new Sci FI shows? I think Threshold is the best of the three and naturally the one I like best is doing the poorest in the ratings!
