My all-time favorite subgenre of TV shows were those mystery/romance/comdey hybrids that were popular during the 1980s; stuff like "Remington Steele", "Moonlighting" and "Scarecrow and Mrs. King." What I don't like about the current crop of CSI's and L&0's is that everybody is so serious all the time. That's probably why NCIS is my favorite currently-running TV show. They solve crimes, but the seem to have fun while doing it.
