After a pretty blah season, the last two episodes were really great. I'll be buying the season one DVDs anyway because I missed several episodes, hopefully a lot of people will and show this show deserves another chance. I've heard one of the problems was the creator of the show wrote almost every episode of the first season and then in the second handed it off to other people, but of the handful of great episodes in season two, she was the writer. Maybe she'll realize no one sees Joan the way she does and get back to being more involved.

I don't know if this show is going to be so bold as to talk about the actual devil, but as far as I'm concerned Ryan Hunter is his messenger the same way Joan is God's. All of his talk about God isn't that powerful, he's not in control, etc, very manipulative and devil-like in planting seeds of doubt. Not to mention how charming he is. Yes God talks to him but let's not forget that Lucifer started as an angel. Ryan Hunter plays the part perfectly of fallen angel who rejects God and thinks he can do one better.
