To me the show was supposed to be about brothers, family, math and the FBI and it still is.

I never got any strong indication that there would be romances brewing but then I did miss one episode which I think involved Amita. But I kind of liked the fact that Charlie seemed a bit interested in the CHP officer. Rather than will they or won't they and do they or don't they it's nice just to see the guys having lives without a tension filled romance with one person. Let them date around a bit. Maybe I'm just spoiled by Mulder and Scully because their relationship was so good. Or maybe it left a bitter taste because of the way CC screwed it up.

As I said before, the brother-brother relationship of Numb3rs combined with the father is more interesting to me because it hasn't been done as often. Just about every other show has the male/female thing. Grey's Anatomy seems to be more about that then the fact that the characters are interns. Remind me never to go to their hospital for treatment!

I like the math angle which is kind of weird because I stink at math. I'm like the dad who doesn't understand what his son is saying half the time. I liked the the fact that they got Charlie on the spelling. Hee hee. Revenge against the math nerds! It's fun. The show has enough going for it IMO.
IG I've always said, I'm not a shipper. :-)

Do you watch HOUSE? That's pretty cool and the lead doctor has an ongoing "thing" with a female doctor. Or is she an administrator? Anyway the medical stuff is pretty intense and offbeat, almost X-Filey style cases but there's always a Scullyfied answer. The doctor has an interesting demeanor so he's fun to watch AND there's a sideline relationship. You might check it out.

But still if you want relationships mixed with action why aren't you watching "24" and "Lost"?! How about "Desperate Housewives"? All are full of shippy stuff just waiting for you. ;)
