Subject: Marcos thoughts on Enemy Below

Well , I must say that I was shocked at what I saw.
I will be honest here , I was very angry at what DPB did that night as the cliffhanger. Yes I was like everyone else and was looking for something Harm and Mac ish. But Got Bud getting instead. What a surprise.

I was distraught after seeing what I saw. Feeling totally different about the way DPB portrayed the end. Yes I understand that he is trying to show War, but didn't think he would go that far. Not at least with Bud.

The Chat room was loaded that night . Was good to see so many people. It was fun looking at the different time zones and awaiting the barage of viewers from each zone to tell us their thoughts. Was fun and glad to be part of it.

I have had a chance to calm down so to speak from this and hope for the following: That Bud and Harriet come even closer now as Husband and Wife . Also as parents too. I do not think that the two will seperate. Yes there will be tough times but I guess that is part of a relationship and for them to work it out.

Of course we should have Harm and Mac getting closer as well. Seeing what has happened is possibly a "wake up " call to both of them. Hec , it could have been anyone of them in the past few episodes , but it ended up being someone they care for and mentored most of their time together.

Of course there is the guilt factor here.
1) AJ. He was the one who suggested that Bud take this as a form of getting a promotion. I am not blaming the Admiral in any way. But what I am saying is that possibly in some way HE could feel guilty about him pushing for this and knowing where it has gotten Bud now.

2) Harriet. She too will feel guilty about this cause she wanted to see Bud excell in his duties. Yes at first she didn't but , in the end she did agree. I do not think she will hold a grudge against AJ for this decision. Knowing what has happened now.

3) Bud. Now some of you might think ... why Bud?
Bud as we can see Loves children. He would do anything to help them . It's natural, he's a father and a human being.
It's also Bud being Bud. Helpful , yet anxious and the way they make him to be portrayed. Of course there will be the " What if's" from Bud as he thinks about this for many times to come.

4) Harm and Mac. They will feel something too cause of all their encounters with mines recently . I just hope everyone doesn't get depressed over this . et.al. AJ, Harriet, Harm & Mac, ....

I thought the scenes of Harn Flying and distracting the missile were superb. I liked the one scens as they flew past the bridge and the scene as Harm took Lead.
Loved the sleeping scene of Mac in the humvee. Kind of reminded me of some of the fan fics read here and there of "Harm looking at her as she sleeps" I guess CB does portray a " Beautiful Sleeper" Maybe she could do another re-make of Sleeping Beauty. Hmmm , now who could be the Prince?......

Well all in all I have to say I liked this season 7. It has SPECIAL meaning for me. (Jennifer, you know) Glad to see 2 characters gone. Not saying that they were bad actors but, they were just not needed in the story lines.
Here's hoping that Season 8 will bring us what we have strived to see all these years. Harm and Mac becoming a God's honest couple.
It's been fun this season. Hope we have a fun off season with CB doing God knows what, and that it's all safe and fun for her. Also the other actors too.

Wow what a long one I just wrote.
