I figured it out! My husband finally bought us a Microsoft manual the other day and usually I'm like **Send In The Peace Corp.** with instructions, but this book is really good. Maybe this will help you.

I opened My Computer on my desktop, opened control panel, opened desktop themes, clicked background, clicked save as and it prompted me to give the background I wanted to save a name, so I named it Steve Perry, clicked save as, and then clicked apply.

Then I went to where I had my beanie baby gif (which I originally saved as a background) which I had stored in my documents, double cliked it open, right clicked and clicked apply as background.

Let me know if Win/95 is different.
