Hi Charley4,
i have to say, I would love it if what you are saying was to happen, but in thinking about it, it is a little too weird. These guys have let their dirty laundry out in public and it would be hard to believe that they are going to be able to get on a stage and play and like it! I wish it were different. It is heartbreaking to me that these guys who created such magic disliked eachother so...and I get the impression Neal is just a different kind of guy. I doubt I could get along with him. Jon seems to have changed. If you look at him on the Frontiers and Beyond video and other interviews I have from l983-84 he is the sentimental nice one. Now he is like "whats up with that!?" (oh I hate that!)
As much as I want Steve Perry back, and to see him in concert again would be a dream come true...but I doubt it.
If I were STeve Perry, I would continue to do what he is doing.....enjoy life, spend the money he has made...dabble in some music projects of up and coming groups...and put Journey behind him.His legacy with Journey is intact...he left after a #3 album. He went out on top. even if he was forced out.
