Subject: Vivez-vous?
In reply to: K'ith and Quereth // Peth and J'neli 's message, "Re: First Flight in New Isle!" on 22:38:48 03/09/03 Sun

The affirmative bugle echoes up to Viouth as she climbs on raw power into the skies of Pern. Wings beating strongly, her speed is great and her passion greater, but the knowledge that she has a pursuer drives her to faster speeds and into the highest reaches of lust. Somewhere in her one-goal mind, she recognizes her suitor as Peth, and inner glee bubbles through her spirit and lends her even more power. Sheer energy takes the place of blood as it courses through her veins and empowers her pumping heart, and the green lets out one long cry with every possible emotion of flight packed into it: longing, ache, passion, lust, love, desire, freedom, supremity, taunting, daring, challenge, and so many more that the scream is enough to twist one's heart.

Thermals are ignored as vices of the weak as Viouth rockets upwards at a steep angle; somehow she knows that her flight will not be long, and she wants as much altitude as she can possibly get. Somewhere in the ignored recesses of her mind is the knowledge that there are only two adult blues in all of New Isle, and the fact that Raskith has seemed somewhat attached to other greens. The fact that Peth may be her only suitor does not bother her; instead, it sends a delightful thrill down her spine and out along her wings, inspiring her to greater speeds. A tantalizing flick of her tail is given to the trailing blue as another emotion-filled shriek is torn from her throat by the sheer wind of her flight; always upwards and always faster than the previous second.

T'yin's eyes close the instant he hears Quereth's mighty bugle... knowing that it has started, and that someone has come. He daren't look, for fear that it won't be whom he desperately wants it to be. Viouth's utter bliss in flight, a flight secure and with her rider's involvement for the first time in Turns, is a euphoric that he valiantly tries to refuse. But denial is not possible and the greenrider soon feels his heart flying with his green, and his mind stretching to encompass her glory. Her emotions towards her suitor, stronger than any before felt from his lifemate, force him to open his pale eyes... and he sees J'neli next to him.

Stunned in more ways than one, T'yin stares at the bluerider, eyes misting and an incredulous expression slowly growing, twitching his lips into a sort of smile. A strange sort of calm utopia envelopes him, buffering his back from the cold of the boulder and the firm earth, making his world fade at the edges and the background blur into a colorful haze. "You came." The statement is whispered, almost as though afraid saying such will jinx it and the bluerider will disappear. But as T'yin gazes through wisps of blonde hair at J'neli, the bluerider does not leave, only offers a hand. Tentatively, the greenrider takes it in his own, and almost as though the physical contact is a cue, his green's energy floods him and he leans back against the boulder, eyes closing and fingers tightening in a firm, almost desperate grasp as he abandons himself to his dragon.
