Ever notice that within days of a death, be it the 7 astronauts or a late public figure who died suddenly, there is a flurry of people who have to joke about it. A famous joke that came out of the Challenger explosion delt with the image of one astronauts husband looking for a certain piece of her on the beach.

So it goes that there will be jokes, undoubtably, but what's even more sick is that some weridos seem to get off on taking the morbid to the ninth degree. Namely the sudden flurry of activity on E-bay selling peices of shuttle debrie(sp?). (Side note: it's considered a federal offense to sell these objects, a ten year prison sentence, and a fine of $250,000.00.)

We had the same thing happen when Diana passed on, and some people were actually trying to auction peices of the twin towers. Makes me kinda ill.
