I don't have a problem with that. I think it's cool that they gave the Laserbeak name to a Transformer who has an avian like robot mode (like G1 Laserbeak) and seems to have a function as a spy (camcorder).

As for the allegiance, again, doesn't bother me. Most people don't seem bothered by the fact that BW Inferno is not only a Predacon, but looks nothing like G1 Inferno.

As I'm sure you know, Hasbro's only reusing the name to maintain the copyright on them. I've yet to see any proof that any of these Armada characters are supposed to be the same as their G1 counterparts or even in the same continuity. And even if they are, there's a chance that Laserbeak could've defected or perhaps was captured and reprogrammed, although that would kind of fly against basic Autobot morality.

I want the black Spy Streak, since he wasn't released here, but too keen on the other two. I probably will end up getting the three pack (IF it's released here) just for the Spy Streak mould.
