Actually, I'd have to say I consider Scorponok the best of the bases (Omega Supreme included). The fact that he has 3 clearly defined modes (robot, base and scorpion) makes him just a bit more unique. I have Brave Maximus and while I consider it a very good toy, I found that technically, Scorponok was better designed in my opinion. Even Trypticon, with his walking feature and light up electronics gets my preference over Fort Max/Brave Max/Grand Max. Fort Max's "spaceship mode" isn't really clear and Metroplex's base mode doesn't really look as good as Scorponok's (but his rolling battle station mode really kicks ass). In fact, I'd say that the Decepticons have the better bases with Trypticon and Scorponok. Omega Supreme leads the charge for the Autobots, followed by Fort Max, then Metroplex.
