Technically speaking both the VF1S Super Valkyrie and Strike Valkyrie share the same head. In the case of the Bandai Valkyrie toys they were simply unable to sculpt the heads to match the anime, hence all the Bandai Valkyrie toys have blocky and inacurate heads not just the Strike Valkyrie. Ofcourse in Jetfires case he was a toy first so I guess in his case the blocky head is technically correct.

This aside, from the looks of the Yamoto fast pack and strike protoypes it doesn't look like the armour and booster packs will be removable, not without some tinkering anyway so anyone planing on pursuing such a plan had better have some decent modelling skills.
