Hi Sara,

Australia is a bit wierd in that they don't recognise dyslexia. I did a master's degree in special education and was shocked that dyslexia was not one of the modules. Everything I learnt about it I learnt from studying through the courses on offer here.

As regards your son's spelling words, I would recommend a phonics approach with word families.
