I can tell you what your daughter’s problem is and a solution. Your daughter found a way to overcome her dyslexia, however, as she advanced in the school system the solution that she created in no longer able to keep up with her schoolwork. You must understand a dyslexic’s brain is designed to be an academic specialist, and the school system is requiring your daughter to be a generalist.

Here at Dyslexiaconsultants.com we created a solution to this very problem. The program is owned by the State University of New York, and was tested in a New York State public high school, with funding from the New York State Government. In the first program we use the Graduate Record’s Exam Analytical Writing Assessment, focusing on organizational skills. After about 100 hours of private instruction the dyslexic student is normally scoring in the 30-70 percentiles of entering graduate students in writing. What this means in the real work is that the dyslexic student has the writing skills to earn a 2.0 – 3.0 in college with no further remedial instruction.

In the second program we use first year graduate level reading material, written by an award-winning author. After another 50-100 of provide instruction the dyslexic student can read at the graduate school level.

I created these programs after doing that your daughter does, creating my own solution to my problems with dyslexia. It just took me to my mid 20’s to do this; now I share my skills with other dyslexics.

If I can be of any further assistance, please contact me at:
