I had tried some herbal remedies as i am a believer in them, however, when the depression was really bad I did need to go to the doctor and get a PX antidepressant. I am on Effexor XR and it is my miracle drug. I had no side effects and I am stable with regard to moods and depression. I have had many bouts of depression as I am now 48 ( a young 48 if i might say so myself). I have learned that life does go on. New beginnings happen, new love, new work, new everything if so desired. KEEP up your spirits of You will win this war of depression. Keep on keepin on.
