Dear Bill, I hear what you are saying. I have been alone for 21 years except for a couple affairs that were so painful, I was better off without them. As a mother of three children, I also know that they can cause you a lot of pain too, even after they are grown. I guess the last three years have been really bad for me because of the isolation my illness calls. I have some abandonment issues too, from childhood, from a bad marriage. One of the things I still fight is is the feeling of other peoples non-caring behavior. I know I need to know that I can and will be here for myself. Let tomorrow be a better day.
