Most people would tell them "look I gave you six weeks notice" and leave it to them to worry about training, etc. Sounds like they don't have a lot to choose from on applicants :) I bet they're going to have a real rude awakening when you're gone. Serves them right too for not appreciating you while you're there and for not getting on the ball and finding someone quick so you would have plenty of time to train them.

I know it's frustrating but just a week and a half to go and you're out of there. Then let them deal with it all.
