Subject: I consider leaving WoW

Well this ain't a good bye post, but I do consider leaving...

I just logged on and I found myself wondering (again) why I did it and what I can do here.

And while thinking about it a few things came up my mind.

Gear. Why do I want gear? Not that I can get anytime soon as we're faaaaaaaaaaaar away from MC, but still the question remains. Atm gear seems (sad as it is) to be the only "goal" in this game. And once you achieved all your gear what is left to do then?

PvP?
I wonder where... Alterac Valley - well basically it's just zerging and idling for reputation and cps to get better gear which will be pointless if you got your endgame gear anyways.
I guess it's not even fun to raid AV with 40 guys as it will be far too easy then to crush an unorganized enemy force.
Warsong? LOL @ whoever calls this PvP. Sometimes there are a few nice fights there, but all in all that CtF seems not to work for most classes. You can surely stand at your base nuking anyone that comes close but in most cases they'll just try to run passed you as a cat. great PvP.

Well maybe the new 20 man raid instance will provide some "fun" (means: achievable goal) for the near future, but as epics shall drop there pickup groups will be totally fucked due to greed and selfishness and doing it as a guild only group will onyl provide fun until you got your gear.

What do i want to say with this post? I don't know, maybe I'm hoping that someone shows me a way how I can have fun in WoW, but I guess I just wanted to voice my frustration with a game in which standing out has nothing to do with skills but with having way too much sparetime.

I'm glad I dont have that much sparetime to be a shining personality in this game and I guess once I finished my exams I'll find at least a 1000 better ways to spend my time off, because atm leveling seems to be the best fun possible in this game.

So long...

El D. out.
