Hey Cliff. Man, I go away for a bit and you guys forget which way is up. Let me see if I can straighten out some of your addled confusion.
1) As far as I know Hannah gave the package to Brooks. Not sure though. I wasn't there where it happened.
2) Hannah turned Brooks' partner into a ghoul and then killed her. Which is why I asked you instead of Hannah to look after Mara.
3) The warnings came via the Senator via Blackwell from whoever it is pulling Blackwell;'s strings. I used to think that was Celeste but now I'm not so convinced. It might be someone we haven't even met yet. Still working on that one.
4) Stavros never offered to tell us who she was allied with, just their clans. I know he told me but I don't remember the complete list. It's not like I have an eidectic memory or anything. I do know that there was only one Ventrue, which is what I was most concerned with. Seems like there were some other Toreador as well.
5) The Sabbat are still lurking in shadows where they always will. This isn't a threat that's just going to go away. Kind of like terrorism. Sorry.
6) As far as our grounds go, I still think a network of streetlevel spies are your best way to monitor that. While they weren't the most effective offensive force, the surrounding gangs still seem like the best option for this purpose. Only problem is they may already be networking for a certain Setite in our area. Remember her? Hi Granma.
7) I'd have a really hard time trusting him after that. On the other hand, I more than anyone know the power and sway elder vampires can have over us, especially those of our own clan. May not be a bad idea to reserve judging him too harshly on this matter. Just a thought.
8) I'm not Hannah so I don't know where her book is. Although I may have an idea where it came from. I'll have to get back to you on that.
9) I know that any small patch of land that holds so much interest from so many different parties will never be completely in one party's possession. This thing seems like Jerusalem to the creatures of darkness. May be a good idea to steer clear altogether. Holy Wars just don't seem to find ending and resolution.
On that last note though, I have a question for you. I've heard rumor that the catacombs were recently found to be empty. EMPTY! That means someone or something had absconded with dear Nathaniel's remains. This troubles me. Surely he didn't rise from the grave and walk outta there on his own did he?
Anyway. How's the watch on my sister going?
