Thanks for your support Cliff. I just want to clarify the way I feel about Julia -- the way a lot of people feel about Julia and most good sheriffs.

I respect what Julia *wants* to do. She wants to help the younger kindred. She sees that she's a lot older than many of us, and consequentially more powerful. So she can do things that most of us can't. And she tries to accept that responsibility by holding the position of sheriff.

The problem as I see it is, even though Julia does good, she also supports the system that is holding us all back. If Jan isn't going to help us (and everything I've seen shows that he is out to hinder us) then Julia shouldn't be supporting him. It just wastes her time and effort doing bullshit jobs for Jan and the other elders. And it makes things harder for all of us because it strengthens the prince, which just makes our lives more difficult.

Its great that Julia wants to help us -- just remember that her first loyalty is to the prince and the elders. She spends too much time doing things she's forced to do and not enough time doing good.
