I am involved with the local printing museum and we have a "fudge box" used at the "Evening Post" in Wellington
where I was the "stop press" Linotype operator in the 1970s.This stop press device is about all that is left now (apart from the nameplate!) of the magnificent Goss
Headliner rotary press at the Post which was only commissioned in 1968 and cut up for scrap in 1993 - still in pristine condition!
Regards,
BILL NAIRN (wellington, New Zealand).
