I have one of the plastic line gages (rulers) with the symbols of the six level tape. Not sure if I have it in Florida or Michigan. I could copy it on paper and e-mail the info. These tape readers were used on machines I worked on both in the South Bend Tribune (Ind.) and the Kalamazoo Gazette (Mich.)
Am living in Florida for the winter. I gave away a model 31 about 5 years ago. Don't know where it is now. Was in Kalamazoo.
I have about 80 cases of metal and wood type and a 12 x 18 C&P press in a barn in Michigan. Once in a while I use it.
There is a museum in Michigan at the Buckley Old Engine Show and they plan to have a Linotype working when they hold the show in August of 2002.
