Subject: There is a provision:
In reply to: 's message, "Indy?" on 12:06:08 09/04/20 Fri

The following verbiage was e-mailed to the teachers:

"Entries Deadline Extended - The entry deadline has been extended to September 8th. (please note that Sept. 7th is a holiday)
This extension will give us time to do the work and get a definitive answer out to everyone as to the exact location for the event. We will have the information on the site to share with you by early next week so that in the case we are forced to choose Indianapolis you can inform your families and make decisions based on where the Oireachtas is going to be located. If an entry has already been made and a dancer wants to withdraw before entries close, we will allow that withdrawal and refund the fees."

Given today is September 4th, if you have already registered, I recommend you e-mail or call your teacher to let them know if you definitely don't want to participate in Indianapolis. The teachers were supposed to vote early this week on Indy or canceling the event altogether. I haven't received an update, but imagine we will have news today or tomorrow.

[> [> [> [> Asking out of curiosity, if they have Oireachtas in Indy this year, does that mean 3 of the upcoming 4 Oireachtas will be in Indy? Not a complaint. Looking forward to a new city as we were just in Schaumburg in 2016/2017. -- A parent, 13:10:54 09/04/20 Fri (ue.tmodns.net/172.58.206.198)
