It was a pin on the board that had never been soldered properly. This was a spare board as the one I removed had two notes that latched on, when the system was powered up.I have another spare bass/treble board but all 32 notes latch on when the system is powered up using this board.

My Pianocorder suffers from long periods of idleness. Does this cause problems with the electronics? If so how often should I run it?
