Date Posted: 13:15:06 05/13/02 Mon Hello All: I have recently installed a Pianocorder system in my small grand. It plays great, and I'm quite happy with the installation. My one problem with it relates to the sustain function. The sustain solenoid worked at first, but was "too aggressive" in it's activation. None of the adjustments I made to the board, or the solenoid, seemed to help. Eventually, the solenoid overheated and burned out. I now think this may have been a circuitry problem, since I understand the driver board is supposed to send a full power "activation" signal to the solenoid, followed by a reduced power "hold" signal. The L.E.D on the power supply does not glow brightly and then dim as the service manual suggests it should - it only glows brightly. Has anyone else had a problem like this? I think I know where I can find a replacement pedal solenoid, but don't know where to start on the potential driver board problem. Thanks in advance.
