I would agree that a great line like OC or EHT has can definately help a back post some numbers,but after he's though the hole he's on his own.As for the number of touches increasing stats,that would help his totals but not necessarily his average.

Look at Martin(I agree,he should've made first team),or even Abdussamad.They are both lower than the top five in terms of total yds,yet they avg.9 & 7 yds per carry respectively.Higher than most of the leading rushers.Thats probably a better indicator of how good a back is.
