Walsh NEVER ran up the score and he OFTEN had his QB's kneel down at the end of games. If Walsh was ahead by 10 points with only a minute or so left in the game he would have done just what Mooch did(one of the few times that Mooch acted like Walsh since he's been Niners coach).Even if he was only a few yards away from another score he would have had JOE take a knee,especially if he had all those sick players and had already had one player lost for the season(Fiore)and other players had been injured and possibly gone for the season.I would MUCH rather have Walsh or Holmgren or Shanahan or a half a dozen other coaches around the league instead of the unimaginative and predictable Mooch for our coach but I think that EVERY one of those other coaches would have done just the same as Mooch did under those same circumstances that Mooch was under in that Skin's game.
