Tim, my whole point about the kneeling is that I think Mariucci Coaches this team like they were the niners of the eighties and quite frankly they aren't the niners of the nineties. We were 12-4 last year with one of the easiest schedules in the league. We lucked out against the Giants on opening night and have played like crap offensively ever since. We fold against the true quality teams in the league and I think it is time to start showing some dominance and yes adding points to the scoreboard is one way of doing it. I ask you again, how many times did you see Bill Walsh's teams take a knee. Walsh loved to score 40+ points a game and yes sometimes more. Did he need to score 40 points to win? Wasn't he risking getting Joe, Rodger, Jerry and others hurt when he was pounding it up the Saints rear end? He didn't care because he was establishing dominance and people hated the niners for it. Tim, scoring begets scoring and Walsh knew it and so do I. Thanks for the spirited conversation.
