Keno, thanks for the up-date.I believe you will find Studeny right in the hunt for the starting QB position. This kid is cool under pressure, good speed, good arm and has good poise in the pocket. You'll find Shaffer right in the hunt at QB also. Both these kids have grown and put on more weight for this season.Shaffer doesn't rattle, has good field vision, speed, good arm, reads the deffense well, and makes good solid choices when presented with the on comming opposition.Look for Brandon Bowels to be right in the hunt at QB also. The disadvantage for Mitchell is his height. You have to be able to see over that big Bulldog line to pass the ball.
When those 6'5 6'4 Bulldog linemen stand up,a 5'7 QB is going to have fits seeing over them for his receivers.
I feel the DB spots will be just fine. The Bulldogs have some great talent to pick from who saw playing time at those positions last season.Possibilities---Chenault,Chris Smith,Clifford Davis,Brinson,Zollicoffer,Dempsey,Dontaryl Summers,Zach Johnson,Joe Smith, just to name a few.The O and D line will once again consist of some huge linemen.Which are not only BIG but QUICK and that's the BIG difference.I see no problems with the Bulldogs front line. The Bulldogs have some great players who saw playing time in the RB positions also. With kids to pick from like Brinson,Zollicoffer,Summers,Johnson and others,I believe the Bulldogs RB game will fair rather well.I look for two year returning letterman Dale Dempsey at the FB position. At 6'1 220 lbs. Dale will open up those holes for the running game and he's a load to bring down.I look for another tough group of Bulldogs this season. They will be tested in almost every game starting from week one with the addition of facing three Federal League opponents in the first four games.Perry is being boasted as the top FL team to beat. The Bulldogs will see them in week two!Look for Fawcett Stadium to draw close to 20,000 for this matchup!GlenOak,Jackson,Grove City,St.Ignatius,Warren Harding,Aquinas Institute from New York who won their state title last season, and massillon!Looks like the Bulldogs WILL be tested often throughout the entire season.
Once again Keno, thanks for the up-date and ticket info.
GO BULLDOGS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
BULLDOG BY 'CHOICE'--CHAMPION FOREVER!!
