Partial Bingo. You got the outcome partially right, and the motivations almost right (but not quite: you need to answer some of the other questions for a full answer.) I am *very* impressed. The soul part is the big unknown. Ask yourself: would Xander accept to become evil (i.e no soul) knowingly if the Stakes were high enough? Why and for who would he do it? Excellent, and I mean excellent catch about lurky. That's a perfect bull's eye. What kind of symmetry does it suggest? : ) Plug the answer in other question! You're burning close! Who's going to do the siring ?

You my friend are a bold and daring tadpole! And you are correct!! Now can you solve the tale of the Knights ? It should be much easier!
The ATS part is possible but in my opinion much more unlikely, unless you stretch the Sire definition all up and down the family tree line.
