The Charlotte Observer reports the Carolina Panthers are reevaluating RB DeShaun Foster's (knee) status. "He hadn't come along quite as well as we had hoped, and we're just reevaluating what his status will be," head coach John Fox said. There has been some discomfort and a little swelling in his knee, which is putting his future in doubt for the remainder of the season. Team doctors are going to evaluate him to determine the next course of action. The Gaston Gazette adds that team officials confirmed on Thursday evening that they're strongly considering putting him on injured reserve. General manager Marty Hurney said if the doctors have to go back in and do something else that IR is a strong possibility.
