Welcome to my fantasy football forum. Feel free to leave messages, give your input or just read the posts. The goal is to make everyone a better fantasy football owner and help with those difficult decisions.

Instructions

To make the board easier to use, if you have an exceptionally long message, please create a post and then place the bulk of the question in a reply. This will make the board load quicker.
When asking for advice on starters, please list the player and who they are playing if possible (i.e. Couch @ CIN, Dillon - CLE).
It is also helpful to include your scoring system (Performance or TD only is often enough, but if you have anything funky, it helps to know it).
Above all, we are all here to learn so don't take anything the wrong way or get upset. Just have a good time and enjoy.

Garcia vs Arizona Garcia has looked average this season and Owens is banged up. Though I have stuck with Garcia all season waiting for him to break out is it getting to be quarterback by committee time??

Green vs. Oakland In what should be a shootout. Picks are my biggest concern with Green (-3 pts each) though he has been respectable this year and Oaklands pass defense is pretty shaky. All opinions appreciated!

I have a good problem to have (I guess). I am starting Duece McAllister and then I am up in the air about which one to go with between Shaun Alexander at Dallas or Charlie Garner vs K.C.

I know that Alexander is Boom or Bust, but Garner has out scored him in our league and K.C.'s defense seems to allow people to score at will (RBs score double for receiving TDs in our league). I am leaning towards Garner this weekend which is tough because I drafted Alexander with the 5th overall pick. Thanks!

Picking the right players has been tough for me the last couple of years. Last week I took Hollis (@HOU) instead of Vanderjagt (vs BAL) and 'snatched defeat out of the jaws of victory' again. Still I'm 3 - 3 and still in the hunt for a playoff spot.

This week my main decision is which QB is going to rack up the most points in a performance league: Griese or Green (assuming he plays). I'm looking for a high scoring game. My other choice would be Brees (@OAK).

The rest of my team, I'm leaning towards:

RB Martin (vs MIN), Garner (vs SD) over Staley (vs TB), L. Smith (@ATL), J. White (vs HOU) (a possibility I suppose)

WR Owens (@NO), R. Smith (@KC), Conway (@OAK) over McCardell (@PHI)

Chicago Defense (a disappointment this season)(@DET) over San Diego (@OAK)

Vandejagt (@PIT) over Hollis (@MIA)

- I'd stick with the Edge this week. Steelers allow over 4 yards per carry. And Edge should could 20+ carries. Price is covered by Surtain so don't look for any big plays. Surprised to see that Portis didn't make the "Player to Exploit" section of David's weekly matchup report. I don't think the KC run defense is that good and Griese will find Portis on quite a few short screens. Matter of fact, opposite Ahman Green, I will probably start Portis over Curtis Martin, who has a decent matchup vs. the Vikings this week. I can see the Vikes being tougher on the run than KC. Just my opinion.

Would you start Wells versus Cleveland over Davis versus Greenbay? At first glance this is a stupid question. But I'm hearing Wells may get the bulk of carries versus a suspect defense. Davis seems to be phased out of 3rd down and passing situations which is mystery to me since the first couple of weeks he had been catching the ball well and running with authority.

I could'nt believe hearing that Trent Green might be out of this weeks game against Denver. The guy played an entire half last week hurt and threw for 2 Tds!!! He has their number or so it seems but they are the best shutdown DEF in Football. He also gets yards on the ground. Tampa rushes 4 and the can spy with a linebacker and drop 6 in coverage. Plus they are my FF DEF and I hate playing my one man wrecking crew against them. I get a feeling he is going to get beat up this week.

I was just offered a trade: Garner for Troy Brown. I'm in a performance and TD keeper league. We must start a combo of 4 WR/RB (at least 1 at each pos.) My current roster is Tomlinson, Dillon, Garner, Lamar Smith, Driver, Booker, Bruce, McCardell and Morton. Would you make this trade? I'm kinda skeptic and somewhat resistant to change right now since my team has been on fire. Thanks.
