Welcome to my fantasy football forum. Feel free to leave messages, give your input or just read the posts. The goal is to make everyone a better fantasy football owner and help with those difficult decisions.

Instructions

To make the board easier to use, if you have an exceptionally long message, please create a post and then place the bulk of the question in a reply. This will make the board load quicker.
When asking for advice on starters, please list the player and who they are playing if possible (i.e. Couch @ CIN, Dillon - CLE).
It is also helpful to include your scoring system (Performance or TD only is often enough, but if you have anything funky, it helps to know it).
Above all, we are all here to learn so don't take anything the wrong way or get upset. Just have a good time and enjoy.

We start two RB, I have Holms so he's a given. For the second I need to choose from J. Lewis v. Cin, Zerioue v. Atl, or drop on of the last two for A. Thomas, Hearst, M. Williams, Bennet, Dunn or Barlow. (Thomas v. NE, Hearst v. KC, Williams or Bennet vs. NYG, Dunn @Pit or Barlow v. KC).

Question: Is Martin losing goal line carries? Is he being pulled out of the red zone? I have not seen the past couple of Jet games. This concerns me. THe Lamont Jordan TD, 100 yard hype came when SD defense had one foot in the shower stall.

Barlow appears to be getting more carries from Hearst. Obviously he's the better back and everyone but Maricucci knows this.

Has JJ Stokes lost the #2 wr job to Tia Streets?
My current wrs are Booker, Driver, Chambers, Coles, Bradford
Should I drop one of these guys for Streets and if so which one? Naturally Booker and Driver stay. Also do any of you see Chambers making an impact this season or am I wasting a roster spot? I am in a performance league.

Wells has an intriguing matchup this week against Cincinnati. Would you sit Martin (vs. SD) and use him instead?

My record is now 4-3-1. I have the highest point total in my 12 team league at 690 points. My three losses consist of this. The week TB scored 3 def TD's I lost by 10 points. 1 minute left in the game and BALT is on the 1 ready to score and prevent the shut out. Instead TB INT's and runs it back all the way, 13 point swing. The week Alexander scored 50 points, I lost by 12, this was also a division foe. Lastly the week Shannon Sharpe scores 32 points I lose by 8. The tie I have is fair, but these others hurt, I am curently in 2nd place in my division, out by 1/2 game. I seem to hit the record breakers when they go huge. Oh well, I still think I will win my division. Needed to whine a bit, thanks!

To those that responded thank you, to the others, well figure it out for yourself!

McNabb seems to be mentioned by most and I agree, right now I see him as the toughest and most complete QB in the game this year. And I see Philly as the most complete team offense-defense!

RB- Holmes is tops this year in my opinion, and although Tomlinson is having a great year, watch-out Faulk is on a mission!

WR- Many disappointments here this year, but to me Owens is the only really turning it on....finally!

SuperBowl predition Philly and Pitt in a Northeastern battle with McNabb the difference....Philly wins! Maddox will end up being the surprise QB this year, this huys got the stuff!

I am in a 14 team keeper league which plays two 8 week halves. After week 8 we can turn in players and re-draft.
Scoring is TD's and points for rush and receieving yardage.
Also, bye week players use points from previous week's scoring.

My team is: Wash team QB; Faulk, Zereuoe, Gary RB's; Bruce, Moulds, Franks, R. Wayne WR's; Wash Kicker and CHI defense. Re-draft is last place to first and repeat.

I am thinking of booting my kicker, O. Gary and R. Wayne. Since we have the bye week scoring deal and my week 9 opponent has 20 bye week points already, I am thinking of drafting N.O. or K.C. kicker first. Followed by Tony Richardson. If I can pull this off I will be within 5-6 points of my opponent. Looking at T. Heap or B. Miller to replace Reggie Wayne.

Any comments? Strategy flawed?

We had a team in our leauge that failed to change their lineup for the week. He left three poor player in his lineup for the week. After Sunday's games were over he informed people that he went out of town and forgot to change his lineup. Because he of course lost the game some team owners are asking for the outcome of the game to be changed. They say this affects not only the two teams who played, but all the teams because of playoff ramifications. Should the game's outcome be reversed and the winning team be penilized because the other team did not make thier lineup changes?

- Of the two I'd go with Vick. He'll continue to make big plays scrambling; however, don't look for a whole lot in passing Yds & passing TDs. He has no big play receiver to go to. Houston's pass D is good and Jax will concentrate on running Fred Taylor. All in all, I don't look for either to put up big points this week. This has got to be one of the most bizarre injury situations I've read about in a long time. Either Carolina has no idea what they are doing or Foster is just soft. The guy goes from being out 4 - 8 weeks a few months ago to now being on the I/R!?! Maybe the Panthers need to get a medical staff that knows what the ___ they are doing. 2 days ago people are talking about him getting a few carries this week!

The Charlotte Observer reports the Carolina Panthers are reevaluating RB DeShaun Foster's (knee) status. "He hadn't come along quite as well as we had hoped, and we're just reevaluating what his status will be," head coach John Fox said. There has been some discomfort and a little swelling in his knee, which is putting his future in doubt for the remainder of the season. Team doctors are going to evaluate him to determine the next course of action. The Gaston Gazette adds that team officials confirmed on Thursday evening that they're strongly considering putting him on injured reserve. General manager Marty Hurney said if the doctors have to go back in and do something else that IR is a strong possibility.

My QBs are P. Manning and J. Fiedler. Fiedler being out for up to 10 weeks, I am looking for a back up or possibly a better scorer than Manning. I can only play 1 QB per week. My RBs are T. Henry, F. Taylor, S. Davis, C. Martin, C. Dillon, L. Smith. I play 3 RBs per week.

The possible trades are with team #1 which has Brooks to offer or team #2 which has Griese or Brady to offer. Both teams are short on RBs and looking for help at this position.

I would like to offer Smith and Dillon for any of the mentioned QBs. But I doubt if this will get it done. With C. Mart coming on maybe this would be my trade bait, or should I let one of my other backs go before C. Mart? OR do I stick with what I have and try to pick up a free agent like Pennington, Bulger, Maddox, or Jim Miller?
