"How come?" She asked bravely, lifting her gaze back up to his. It had been 3 months- enough timf for him to find someone else... Hailey was always available "I kinda figured you and hailey might... y'know.. hook up or something" She spoke softly, unsurely, watching him gently.

  • He raised a brow at that and then shook his head firmly. "No... She's hardly been around the barn since the party.." Not that he would have been after her anyways. He had made a mistake, plain and simple - his kiss had not been a profession of love but rather a lapse of judgement and he liked to tell himself he'd been co-erced against his will. "I'm just not interested in anybody right now...that's all."
