I think at this point it's safe for anyone to butt in if they want to, since I've nothing against a friendly debate.

And I think Amber's right, BTW; PG-13 means some violence, a bad word or two; "Parental Guidance recommended" and all. Rated R and NC-17 is when you start getting smut. So like I said, I think the books themselves were pretty much PG-13. They are actually pretty violent, BJ just doesn't describe it as such. I mean, he goes into the "hacking, slashing, carousel of death," which is pretty gruesome if you picture what that hacking, slashing, carousel of death spells for anyone in the way. ^^ That's "Braveheart" level guts and gore right there, and that movie was rated R. But since BJ doesn't go into immense detail about the color of the entrails as they spill out of the victim's bowels, it's safe and can be qualified as PG-13.

@Amber: I don't know about where you live, but here you're only allowed to enter a rated-R movie is if you're over thirteen and with an adult. You can't rent R moves at all unless you're over eighteen (or getting someone who's over eighteen to rent it for you, heh heh). NC-17 is, like, porn and stuff and therefore you must be over eighteen blah blah.

Uh. . . I completely forget what else I was going to say. Hang onna sec.

Oh! Right. Where does it say that my boards are "loosely" Redwall-based? @_@;; It says "anything-goes" in the intro. Angels and demons and dragons and fairies and whatever you like.

Hear, hear! Rejoin the NB. But it's totally up to you, of course. Don't want to push you or anything.
