Subject: The Great Debate

I saw this on a site online and I even posted in the thread there, but I found the arguments that were presented in refutation of valid points to be less than satisfactory and based on assumptions and personal bias, I then abandoned my pursuit mainly due to being fed up and disappointed in the juvenile responses, that usually ended along the lines of "Oh, yeah? Well, my guy would kick your guys ass because he has a big foot." As if that somehow held weight.

Anywho, here's the point:

On a routine patrol of the New York rooftops, Spiderman overhears a police siren and automatically begins to follow on the off chance he might be of help in whatever situation is in place. An explosion rocks the dockside and Spidey veers away from following the police car in a more direct route to the scene.

Batman, visiting one of his many financial concerns in New York, is bored and is monitoring police band radio to see if there might be some excitement to alleviate said boredom. He hears of an incident at the docks and is already en route well before the explosion occurs.

In classic superhero fashion as regards the blame for the explosion, Spidey thinks it's Batman and Batman thinks it's Spidey.

Who wins the ensuing fight ?

(I'll withhold my opinion for a while to see how your replies go without my personal bias.)
