Subject: She murmured a thanks with a bit of a grin and then downed her shot easily and sucked on the lime for a moment before nodding a little. "You have a good day?" Her hand dropped back to his knee and then slid up a few inches to rest with her fingers curled tightly around the inside of his leg as her gaze left him for a moment to scan around until she spotted the kids - she was content just knowing that they were having a good time, so she looked back to him with another smile. His mood had seemed to lighten a little this past week or so - it was a bit of a relief, though everyone still hurt a lot it was like they were starting to adjust to this new reality.

Every Thursday I'd brave those mountain passes
And you'd skip your early classes
And we'd learn how our bodies worked

  • It was because of her that his mood was lightening- she made it hard to dwell in hard times - she was so bright and full of life he couldn;t help but want to move intot he present and future with her. Its like she was pulling him back up to the surface for air.He tossed his lime down into an ash tray and cocked his head at her, a smirk flickering at his lips at her wandering hands "Its getting better" He grinned a touch and tugged her closer so she stood between his legs as he sat on the bar stool. His face dipped to her neck as he burried his lips there, breathing in her softly feminine scent like a breath of fresh air that balmed his soul, his lips brushing to her pulse in a moment of tenderness.
