She was all but pleading with him and was clearly desperate to have him with her - so that she could see him and know that he wasn't mad at her or anything like that. She just didn't want to worry about this or him, but she didn't know what she could do to make things better. It was all such an overwhelming mess.

  • He ran a hand down his face, the sheet covering him only slightly modestly. "Why don't you just come back here when your done?" Done with what, he wasn't sure nor was he sure that he wanted to know at this point. He was tired, tired of bloody caring. He hadn't cared about anyone but himself in a long, long time and was suddenly cursing himself for starting to now.
