so let me get this straight.. you are a non native, and i am a ripe old Indian who has lived long enough to see more than i care to see of the white man's arrogance, and you are tellin me to be a 'good' Indian? let me make a couple things clear.. i got lots of non native friends who are great people.. got lots of non native friends who care deeply about Indian causes.. got no beef with any of them.. we natives have had nearly everything stolen from us, and most of it was stolen because we were bein 'good' Indians.. i'm sure you mean well, but who really cares about changing one dumbass white man? you suggest we go to all this effort to get thousands of people to write.. and that this native person wait and hold that pain inside until this idiot is no longer their teacher.. and all that for what? so we can hope to change the stupidity of one white man? does it not matter to you at all that this native person is being subjegated by this supremist white bigot? god forbid a native person get pissed off and tell a white man off! we native people have sat quiet for centuries while idiots like this guy ran their mouths.. trust me, sometimes stupidity is just stupidity, and it needs to be called what it is openly.. if this young native can find the courage to speak up, let me tell you, a whole lot will change right there on the spot.. first off, the native person will feel their self worth.. that alone is worth it all.. secondly, anyone who witness will see that natives are strong enough, and value themselves enough, to speak up when bigots degrade them in front of a group.. its called earning respect, and its the same damn thing rosa parks did when she refused to give up her seat on that bus.. we ndns get aweful tired of non natives telling us how we should act.. i'm sure you are a nice lady dolora.. just try not to presume what is best for Indians when you are not one yourself..
