Subject: Re: Well, since its started I will post my 2 cents. First off, THIS IS NOT PERSONAL, just has to do with car. It is true that the car can carry legal weight and is for the most part same as everybody else, however the roadster has less frontal area, thus the drag coefficient is less. I know this is probably minimal, but it is one more piece to the overall equation of fast. Also, I believe delay boxes are an advantage ( only for those who have a car that will go red).

Sorry, but your're wrong dude. Our car is not a narrowed version of the vette. It is the exact same size and width of a stock corvette. We have no aerodynamic advantages over any of the newer cars ou there. Corvettes are very wide. In fact, the roll cage hanging in the wind is very poor aerodynamically. It is not the 5/8 scale you often see in the dragster!! I have no advantages over anyone else.

[> [> [> Jonathon, nobody is saying your car is not a full size corvette. Wha we are saying is you are not pushing a windshield and roof through the traps. I dont mind if you run with us but I do think the roadster body should carry some kind of weight penalty. As far as the 27's go just put a year cap on it like 49 and later body styles only. -- jeff benham, 12:32:42 11/18/02 Mon [1]
