I have solved all your problems. I know where you get get a new mill for your ride that would be a player. Its a 396ci Buick headed small block. Bowtie block, titanium valves, jesel, sheet metal tunnel ram, external wet sump pump, complete intake to pan you can get for around 7,500. Believe me you cant come close to this motor for twice that amount. Contact Willie McLemore 281-998-8048

[> [> jeff i'm sorry i forgot the weight that bucky was carrying was for 18 deg the buick head would be more .. quit tempting me that motor sounds nice ,,what kind of shape is it in & how radical is it ?like springs every 20 runs & rods every 40 ?is it an old comp piece ? -- jeff rytter, 19:15:00 10/07/02 Mon [1]

[> [> I think it would spank its fair share of bb's My brother has a 310ci 15 deg w/ 1-750 carb ran a 5.34 @ 2350 takes morre than a mean motor to run good. That motor only made 750hp by the way -- jeff benham, 19:16:56 10/07/02 Mon [1]

[> [> [> jeff no disrespect but thats 1 mean 310 because theall 3 nickens 288's that i worked on in full f/a trim only made 688,692,675 ,they were only 23,500 ea. & my buddies at lozano who build canam motors build a 317 that only make 710 w/1-4 on gas for around 25,000 that 310 is impressive -- jeff rytter, 19:31:58 10/07/02 Mon [1]

[> Jeff, a Buick is an inline valve 10 degree head. It would run at inline weight. The total would be according to manifold-carb. combo. No, your 355 won't hang... never said it would. I'm like you, don't have the extra cash to do one for myself. Only thing... I would build a small block in a heart beat! I think this deal will level out in the low 20's somewhere. That's where we are trying to even it out at. Come the 26th and lets see how it goes. -- John Harrison... (Jeff Benham's favorite person), 20:09:44 10/07/02 Mon [1]
