Scott, I am not against anything. I, and I think I speak for everyone else involved here, am willing to do whatever is necessary to have a level field. True, I am the one who is holding the line against the exotic head cars. I saw what happened with some of the others who have tried this, and am all for taking it slow. We want to include everyone in this, and will try to come up with some weight break for everyone, but not all at once. We have asked many times for those of you with rules suggestions to speak up, but the majority of e-mails I get are self serving and tunnel vision for the one making the suggestion.

As far as reps from several regions, I haven't had enough response from enough people to feel like it would be worthwhile at this point. We have repeatedly asked for those of you who will come to respond. We have rule suggestion sheets that you can fax or e-mail us for consideration. We invite any of you to do so. Help us out here.

As we have repeatedly stated, this isn't for us, it's for the promotion of heads up racing. We aren't, at this time, going to allow a combination that will bring in a couple of cars, and exclude (or make them drop out) several more. We haven't heard from enough cars with the "Big Chief" or other heads of that type to feel like we are doing the wrong thing. Let us hear from you if this includes you. Speak up!

Anyhow, Scott, we will look at what you proposed and go from there.

Yes, there will be another meeting after the 26th race and hopefully there will be more people show up. The turn out at the last one was kinda sparce. Several people said that they didn't hear in time and this time there should be plenty of time. Tell anyone you know about us and anything that pertains to our deal who might come.

Thanks again for your help.

John

John, great response... I personally have no problems with any of the rules in place. According to my Dad and CK, our car will fit when it is finished. And as far as giving you iput, well that would be like asking me to do brain surgery. I know enough to get into a WHOLE LOT OF TROUBLE. That is why I let Hank and Jerry do all of that technical stuff. I am a grunt that re-invents the wheel several times a day.

I am trying to do some flyers for TPSA. Just sent one to Mark. What I need is for one of you to update the "Official Rules" on the main page of this website. Get with Mark and have him send you a copy of the proposed flyer so you can give him and I some input.

I also would like you to send me a picture of you, hope it doesn't turn away potential racers and fans, lol, but I think it would be nice for Competitors and fans to have a visual of what a John Harrison looks like...

[> Meeting Idea - John I know you are familiar with Paltalk, maybe we could use some new millenium tech and hold the meeting online. Sure would help the out of town guys on the $. Between now and then we could hold a few chats to get everybody up and running. Paltalk lets you moderate, raise your hand to speak, type or even bounce if needed. -- Jeff Owen, 18:53:52 10/10/02 Thu [1]
